By June 2008, the Crockett was back in the water at the museum for its next stage of restoration, which included finishing the deck beams and adding rub rails and covering boards. Work appears to be moving slowly, because now we are at the detail work, instead of shaping the hull. We are all looking forward to the day that the decks are finished and the temporary canopy can be removed.
