Rappahannock Summer Art Camps

Sponsored by the Rappahannock Art League and Rappahannock Community College. Two weeks of art and craft instruction by Elizabeth Blackwell, art teacher at St. Clare Walker Middle School. Cost is $50 plus $10 supply fee, due first day of class, paid directly to instructor.

Ages 6-11: 10-11:30 am.

1st week - Make your own stepping stone, watercolor sketchbook and a collage you design.

2nd week - Small sculptures, watercolor sketchbook, and Holly Point bracelet.

Ages12-17: 12 Noon – 2 pm.

1st week - Sand casting, personal nameplate, Discovery image journal.

2nd week -Mobile from natural objects, Koolbags, Discovery image journal.

Aspiring young artists may sign up for both morning and afternoon sessions, but must bring a bag lunch.
