Art in the Park

Workshop with Kathleen Noffsinger

Tuesday & Wednesday, June 16-17, 2009

From 10 am (arrive earlier, please) to 3 pm each day

Watercolor artist and instructor Kathleen Noffsinger will teach a 2-day plein air painting workshop, "Art in the Park." A list of required supplies will be provided upon registration. Artists should plan to bring or buy lunch. Cost for the workshop is $90.

Workshop Description: Artists will work on landscape and seascape drawings and/or paintings from scenes in the park gardens, the boat sheds and at the waterfront. This workshop will be for all skill levels and participants may work in any drawing or painting medium with which they are familiar. Lessons will emphasize responding emotionally to a scene and then composing a painting. Demonstrations will be in watercolor and beginners will work on drawing skills and watercolor techniques.
