There are a handful of spaces left at the Folk Art Experience this week at the Deltaville Branch!

Clarke will explore the concept of folk art and guide attendees through the creation of their own painting – from painting the image to matting, framing and hanging it! This is an opportunity to learn about a unique art form from an expert.

The program runs from Thursday, August 8th to Sunday, August 11th. It is open to all ages and levels of experience with separate classes for kids and adults (August 8th at 1:00 PM and 6:00 PM respectively). Attendees can help mat and frame their works during the library’s open hours on Saturday. There will be a reception with refreshments on Sunday afternoon from 4-6 featuring the work created. All are welcome to attend!
