The Deltaville Maritime Museum (DMM) and Holly Point Nature Park encourage all to mark their calendars as DMM announces updates to its 2024 events schedule and attractions for this March and April. New exhibits for both inside and outside DMM are being added daily as volunteers and staff work to be ready for the official opening weekend on April 26 and 27.
The 15th annual Easter egg hunt is set for 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, March 30. Festivities begin at 1 p.m. with our family friendly hayrides. The Easter bunny will be part of the activities. There will be a photo area for pictures with the Easter bunny. The Easter egg hunt itself starts promptly at 2 p.m. so make sure you get there early.
The Maritime Museum will present its Founders Day reception in DMM on Sunday, April 21, at 2 p.m. The reception will be to formally accept the new Larry Chowning Collection into DMM exhibits and archives and honor Larry, Middlesex’s very own “Bay Historian” and author. Invitations for the reception are in the mail.
