The DCA’s 2024 Deltaville Christmas Ornament has arrived! This year’s ornament showcases the sloop Luna, which was reconstructed right here in Deltaville!
Luna is a replica of an 18th century cargo vessel and is a living example of what was commonly seen on the Chesapeake Bay during the 1700’s. Designed and reconstructed by the Colonial Seaport Foundation, the Luna is homeported in Deltaville.
Only 400 ornaments are made and sell out every year! They can be purchased in town at Nauti Nell’s or Hurd’s Hardware, and cost $20 (cash preferred).
