Originally constructed by local boatbuilders & craftsmen in 1948, Deltaville Ballpark is a rare gem that has survived the test of time. While many towns in the early-mid 20th century had teams and ballparks, Deltaville Ballpark is one of the few that has endured to this day.
Deltaville Ballpark boasts a robust schedule and sees on average 70-80 games and events each year. Action starts in the spring and continues into the fall, with the bulk of the activity occurring during the summer months. Regular action during the summer includes the Deltaville Deltas, an adult/collegiate wood bat summer team which plays on Saturday nights, and League 241, a regional high school developmental league for teenagers that plays on weeknights. Numerous other events, including Little League, travel ball, slow-pitch softball, and other non-sports events occur each year as well.
While part of the DCA, Deltaville Ballpark maintains it’s own web site – for more information, visit www.DeltavilleBallpark.com
